Glass Robin Suncatcher

Brighten up your space with this charming handcrafted glass suncatcher, designed in the shape of a little robin redbreast. Beautiful on a Christmas tree, or in a window all year round.

Ideal as a gift for bird lovers or as a unique addition to your home decor. These robins are made by carefully layering coloured glass, that has been ground into a fine powder, onto a bird-shaped base, before adding the wing, beak and eye, and finishing off in a glass kiln.  Because they are individually handmade, each one is just very slightly different.

Robins always come out at number one in polls of Britains favourite birds.  Maybe because of their association with the old saying that "robins appear when loved ones are near". 

Fun Fact: Did you know that a group of robins is called a 'blush' (referring to their red breasts)- or sometimes they are called a 'riot' which may be due to how vocal they are in groups, but could also be a reference to the 'riot of colour'.
