These vases are a modern version of the 'fazzoletto' vases made by Veleni on Morano in the 1950's
The Merano vases were made from mouth blown glass (and very expensive) whereas these, modern variations, are made from sheet glass that is draped over a former, before being subjected to controlled heating and holding schedules in an electric kiln.
Each one is truly unique. They vary in size, colours, and the shape of the drape. So, unlike most of my other pieces, you wil, in this cas, be buying the exact same item as you see in the photograph! Or, you might want to message me to request a personal variation.
