Each butterfly is individually handcrafted. Frist, the wings are cut from coloured glass, then each is painted with a unique fantasy design, before being fired in a kiln to make the paint permanent. The pieces are then constructed, using the Tiffany method, and a long stake is incorporated to enable the final piece to be inserted in soil - be that outdoors, or in a potted houseplant.
Measuring approximately 12 x 15 cm, and mounted on a 30cm stake, this enchanting piece brings a unique, artistic flair to windowsills, patios, or garden beds.
